Typical festive activities in most Western cultures include trick-or-treating, attending fancy dress parties, carving pumpkins into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.jp\/search?q=jack-o%27-lanterns&amp;es_sm=91&amp;source=lnms&amp;tbm=isch&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMIm5T7zNjfyAIVQzimCh0AkQox&amp;biw=1456&amp;bih=942\">jack-o&#8217;-lanterns<\/a>, lighting bonfires, playing pranks, visiting haunted houses, telling scary stories and watching horror films.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We asked some of our Gengo translators how Halloween is typically celebrated in their country, or if they have a similar holiday. Their costumes and masks are made of animal hide. Now I live in Hungary, and it goes by the same name (in Hungarian, Mindenszentek Napja).
